If you’re not familiar with the game, Isekai: Slow Life is a mobile isekai city-building sim that encourages idle play and relaxation. Unlike most isekais, you don’t transport to a world to embody the typical adventurer role. No, when you, as the player, reincarnate in-game, you are reborn as a walking, talking mushroom. Yep, a mushroom. A mushroom that has a chance to grow and evolve with each action taken throughout the game.

The sky’s the limit as to what you can do whilst in this new world. You can make friends with a variety of different fantasmical groups. You are encouraged to build and establish a village, join an Adventurer’s Guild, and explore various locations filled with fascinating monsters. These adventures offer opportunities to acquire new and exciting items that can enhance your life and benefit those around you.
What does the Isekai: Slow Life x Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collab entail?
Mars Games has joined forces with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba for their limited-time “Isekai Demon Hunter Arc,” which is sure to spice things up in the world of the game. Taking place from September 1 through September 30, players can get a chance to play as one of six fan-favorite characters from the renowned series.
This arc will also feature a new Match-3 battle storyline retelling the Infinite Castle arc, exclusive character art, and a full set of limited-time rewards. This shakes up the typically laid-back game, merging two surprising worlds with some fun results.
Which characters will players have access to?
- Tanjiro Kamado – A kind-hearted boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister back into a human. He uses the Water Breathing technique and the Hinokami Kagura, and has an excellent sense of smell.
- Nezuko Kamado – Tanjiro’s younger sister, who has been turned into a demon. Thanks to both Urokodaki’s hypnotic suggestion and her own willpower, she fights to protect humans. After conquering sunlight, she is able to be active during the daytime.
- Zenitsu Agatsuma – A swordsman in the Demon Slayer Corps and one of Tanjiro’s peers. Wielder of the Thunder Breathing technique. He is usually very timid, but when he’s extremely terrified, he blacks out and enters a trance, demonstrating his true ability. He has a keen sense of hearing and loves girls.
- Inosuke Hashibira – A swordsman in the Demon Slayer Corps and one of Tanjiro’s peers. He is combative and loves to rush headfirst into battle. He uses the Beast Breathing technique and always wears a boar mask over his head. Because he was raised in the mountains, he has razor-sharp intuition and is highly perceptive.
- Giyu Tomioka – A member of the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira. The Water Hashira. He believed that he was not worthy of being a Hashira, however, he remembers the hopes his friend, Sabito, instilled in him and is determined to carry it through.
- Shinobu Kocho – A member of the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira. The Insect Hashira. Has exceptional knowledge of medicine and fights using a special poison that can defeat demons.
Is the special event available now?
The “Isekai Demon Hunter Arc” is available now, from September 1 to September 30. As a heads-up, though, the event is available for 21 days on existing servers. For new servers that launch during the event period, the collaboration remains available until September 30.
