Our Sticky Love is hitting Netflix this Fall, and now, we have a trailer. Jung Hae-in’s Something In The Rain was one of the first Korean dramas that I watched, and I, The Executioner (Veteran 2) was one of the best action films at the 2024 Fantastic Fest. With such a large range in his acting, it’s great to see the actor heading another series, Our Sticky Love, a Netflix Original K-drama rom-com.
Set to premiere on August 7, 2026, exclusively on Netflix, the rom-com series also stars Ha Young as the female protagonist Go Eun-sae. With a lot of chemistry and miscommunication, the setting for Our Sticky Love is bound to bring laughs and swooning as the couple moves from awkward cohabitation to love.

The new series is directed by Kim Jang-han, who isn’t new to the Netflix production pipeline, having previously directed My Demon. As the director’s third time in the seat, it will be exciting to see what comes next with this series. Additionally, the K-drama series is written by Mo Ji-Hye, who worked with director Kim on You Raise Me Up in 2021.
“It’s a heart-warming, feel-good romantic comedy,” says the series’ director Kim Jang-han, commenting to the Netflix newsroom. “It’s a story about building love that binds two people as tightly as sticky, sweet Korean taffy. The series’ irresistible charm will leave you unable to pull yourself away, just like getting stuck to Korean taffy before you even realize it,” adds the director, further heightening anticipation.
What is Our Sticky Love about?
The series follows Go Eun-sae (Ha Young), a prosecutor who lost her memory, and Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a boxing coach who claims to be her boyfriend. What’s a little amnesia between people who may have or may not have loved each other? As the two end up living together, a strange arrangement in a small town turns into a quirky, sweet romance.

Netflix shared the series’ trailer that introduces audiences to our couple’s small town, Taffy Village in Gujin-gun. In a rural town, Eun-sae wakes up in a hospital with all of her memories lost. But in her confusion, Tae-ha appears, calmly claiming to be her boyfriend. While Eun-sae may not have her memories, she does know her tastes, and Tae-ha’s simple appearance isn’t it.
Whether it’s walking through the town or when she is with Tae-ha, everything feels unfamiliar, and it’s not easy to trust a man who feels like a stranger. But the trailer also shows their romance, which moves from awkward to comfortable, only for Tae-ha’s serious warning about not letting anyone find out about them to hint at a much larger secret.
