Physical 100 keeps expanding. Adding to the long list of announced spin-offs of the Korean reality competition series, Netflix announced that Physical 100 Sweden has begun production and shared the list of 100 contestants.
Currently filming in Sandviken, Sweden, the streaming platform revealed the full roster of 100 participants who will compete in the high-stakes survival competition, featuring Sweden’s most accomplished athletes, celebrities, and tactical professionals.
Building on the success of the original Korean series, the Swedish adaptation expands the growing global franchise. Physical 100 Sweden will feature Olympic champion Sarah Sjöström, UFC legend Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson, and artist Daniel Adams-Ray, among others. But fans of the franchise won’t go to Sweden this year. The series is scheduled for a global premiere on Netflix in 2027, but doesn’t have an exact release date yet.
What is Physical 100 Sweden?
The reality competition series pits 100 contestants of various ages, genders, and athletic backgrounds against one another in intense challenges designed to test strength, endurance, courage, determination, teamwork, focus, and mental resilience. Participants will push their bodies and minds to the absolute limit to determine who possesses the most complete physique. The final remaining contestant will claim the grand prize of 1 million SEK.
What other Physical 100 series are there?

This announcement follows recent reveals of other international editions, including Physical 100: Italy, Physical 100: Mexico, Physical: Asia, and Physical 100: USA. This is in addition to two seasons of the original series and Physical: Asia, which was released in 2025.
What is the release date?
Physical 100 Sweden has just begun production (May 2026) and has no scheduled release date. However, Netflix did announce that the release window is sometime in 2027, exclusively on the streamer.
Who are the Physical 100 Sweden Contestants?

The extensive casting process for the debut season involved more than 1,300 applicants and contacted individuals across Sweden, resulting in over 450 casting interviews.
The final selected 100 competitors range in age from 20 to 57 and represent a wide array of athletic disciplines, including various styles of martial arts, swimming, calisthenics, ice hockey, and wrestling. Ordinary citizens, such as firefighters, construction workers, gym rats, and military professionals, will compete directly alongside elite sports icons.
