Items coming to Persona 3 Reload x SuperGroupies Collab

Persona 3 SuperGroupies

Here are the item breakdowns from the latest Persona collection:

Protagonist Model Jacket

This cool jacket, stylized for daily use, is an interpretation of the S.E.E.S. battle uniform worn by the Protagonist.

Numerous details from the original jacket are reproduced, including the zippered chest pocket and an embossed red tag on the left arm, which refers to the S.E.E.S. members’ armbands.

Velvet Room Model Bag

The deep blue colouring is reminiscent of the mystical atmosphere of the Velvet Room.

The key clochette is attached to the handle with the symbol adorning the Velvet Key. The internal pocket has an embossed tag of the Protagonist’s Arcana, the Fool, modeled after a tarot card.

Persona 3 Reload Model Long Wallet

This elegant wallet is inspired by the atmosphere of Persona 3 Reload. It features a white x watery blue colour scheme and is embossed with the phrase “Memento Mori.”

Just like their Velvet Room Model Bag, the inside is decorated with an embossed tag of the Protagonist’s Arcana on the coin compartment.

What is Persona 3 Reload?

Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the original Persona 3 game released in 2006. Much like with the 2006 iteration, the protagonist is a male high school student who gains the potential to summon a Person – the physical manifestation of his soul. He discovers a whole new world after slipping into the 25th hour and being attacked by Shadows. It’s not long until he is recruited by the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.), a group of Persona users with a simple mission – to defeat Shadows and uncover the mystery of the Dark Hour.

Our critic had this to say, “Persona 3 Reload is a fantastic remake with amazing features. It would’ve been nice to include extra content seen in the game’s re-releases, such as Persona 3 FES’ “The Answer” epilogue and Portable‘s female protagonist options. But the remake more than makes up for it with all the new changes and upgrades. While far from perfect, the game still stands out as one of the best remakes. It’s a title Persona fans will be proud of.”

With the recent success of the remake, it’s no wonder SuperGroupies has gone all-in on this collaboration.

What is SuperGroupies?

Every fandom has them, but this fashion brand elevates the “groupie” to legendary status. SuperGroupies is a Japanese fashion brand that offers officially licensed collaboration merchandise inspired by anime, games, VTubers, and more.

Taking your favourite characters and series, this fashion brand designs and creates subtle, stylish items for you to incorporate into your everyday outfits. These products are limited edition and are designed specifically for the fans to be recongizable by other fans with a caveat. If you’re around people who are not a part of the fandom or are unfamiliar, the designs focus on a smart, classy look that won’t draw too many questions from non-fans.

Since its launch in 2014, the company has amassed a massive social media following. Due to its success, it has expanded internationally to spread the love and joy of fandom to a wider audience. The goal has and will remain to celebrate fandoms, and SuperGroupies intends to continue to represent best the core of what makes favourite characters and series so great to its fans.
