NEXON Further Unveils The First Descendant Universe

NEXON and NEXON Games revealed a new trailer for The First Descendant at Gamescom  Opening Night Live 2023, showcasing the game’s lore as well as all-new Unreal Engine 5.2 gameplay. But the best part of the announcement? The First Descendant Crossplay Open Beta will be free to play on PC via Steam, PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S starting September 19, 2023.

As seen during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023, The First Descendant’s new trailer offers another look at the game’s central conflict between the Descendants and the Vulgus alien invaders as they fight for humanity’s last chance at survival and the protection of the continent of Ingris. The mysterious Ironheart is revealed a tool with the power to destroy the Vulgus, as well as unique character abilities and sneak peeks into various boss battles against the formidable Colossi.

Earlier this month, NEXON announced that The First Descendant’s upcoming Crossplay Open Beta would be available to anyone who registers at here—so register now while time lasts. NEXON Games is working to ensure all enlisted Descendants are able to experience the title optimally on any platform of their choice, fully embracing the importance that crossplay offers communities of players to play with others where they are.
