What is new in Crocodilia Coast?
Well, it’s a DLC pack that is just what it sounds like; it’s bringing the ancient crocodile ancestor to your shores, a first for the franchise. The Crocodilia Coast DLC introduces the Deinosuchus, giving players even more options on what to build in terms of enclosures, with the dino’s unique needs.
Frontier Development’s description of the dinosaur is one to get you excited: “This fearsome predator lurks in the deep, waiting for unsuspecting prey to pass by before it strikes with a fierce deathroll attack. Thanks to its long, broad snout, muscular tail, and quadrupedal walking style, this species is just as deadly out of the water as when submerged.”
Additionally, because it’s a coast-based animal, the Crocodilia Coast DLC also gives players the ability to decorate their waterfronts with new items. Park managers will be able to add waterfront huts, select from boardwalk blueprints, and more. Players will be able to use hundreds of scenery pieces, including a full wall kit, props,
lights and signage, to create a custom windswept area around their new species enclosures and lagoons.
In addition to the Deinosuchus, four more species are joining the parks, including distant
relatives of modern-day crocodiles. You can see those animals below:
- Postosuchus: A dinosaur equipped with a deadly jaw of dagger-like teeth and armored skin, while the herbivorous Desmatosuchus is stacked with defensive adaptations and a calm demeanor.
- Styxosaurus: A dino named after the mythical River Styx, this long-necked family unit introduces the first-ever bioluminescent skin for a juvenile species in Jurassic World Evolution 3.
- Shonisaurus: A late Triassic period dino, this family unit is the perfect accompaniment to any lagoon, and they look cute too.

What is the release date?
The Crocodilia Coast DLC is available now in the game. Jurassic World Evolution 3 is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of $59.99 for the standard edition and $74.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
