Summer Game Fest is here, and kicking things off during this jam-packed games-filled weekend is the Summer Game Fest 2026 Showcase. The showcase spanned over 2 hours, packed with exciting game announcements, extensive gameplay footage, and surprise appearances from voice actors Ben Starr and Matthew Mercer, who welcomed in the trailers and footage spotlights for Fortnite: Runners and Final Fantasy VII: Revelation.
Throughout the Summer Game Fest 2026 Showcase, we saw a wide range of genres from a variety of studios, offering something for literally everyone. From horror to sci-fi to fantasy and more, there was plenty to take in and a great many more to wishlist as we wait for the latest developments and announcements to come after Summer Game Fest.
