What is Sword of Legends about?

In Swords of Legends, players take on the role of Si Pan, an Underworld Enforcer who has been reborn. He wields mystical techniques, divine artifacts, and powerful weapons against a host of otherworldly horrors. You can summon captured souls to fight by your side, bind enemies with spiritual seals, or unleash devastating multi-target attacks to turn the tide of battle. The developers state that every foe presents a unique challenge, requiring you to master your abilities to exploit their weaknesses strategically.

The game is built using Unreal Engine 5, immersing players in an atmospheric realm where every location holds both beauty and danger. The world draws inspiration from ancient Chinese literature and cultural folklore, featuring haunting melodies of traditional Eastern music and mythical creatures.

In a press release, the studio made sure to drive home that Sword of Legends is designed for a global audience, yet steeped in magical Chinese underworld mythology, with a focus on opening up the franchise to new players to journey through a breathtaking undead realm of myth, destiny, and discovery.

The game’s trailer captures how fantasy and darkness come into one. Drawing inspiration from ancient Chinese literature and cultural folklore, the world of Swords of Legends aims to be both enchanting and unsettling. With  traditional Eastern music accompanying your journey past unforgettable spectral beings and mythical creatures drawn from legendary works such as the “Classic of Mountains and Seas.” The high-octane trailer drives home the game’s focus on action and the stakes that Si Pan is dealt.
