What is new in Patch 7.5?

Patch 7.5 brings a wealth of new updates and additions, alongside further updates to come in the 7.5x series.

Trail of the Heavens New Content

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 - Trail to the Heavens new dungeon

New Alliance Raid: Echoes of Vana’diel – Windurst: The Third Walk: The new Alliance Raid’s official synopsis is: The time has come for Sareel Ja to realize his dream of a new king─one he believes worthy to rule Tural, and perhaps even the whole of the star. What harrowing trials must the Warrior of Light overcome to put his ambitions to rest, and what will become of Alxaal and Prishe should they prove victorious?

New Dungeon – The Clyteum: The new dungeon’s official synopsis is: This cavernous manufactory once helped sustain Garlemald’s relentless territorial expansion. Long since abandoned, its halls are now the frontline of a terrifying incursion…

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 - Trail to the Heavens

New Trial – Enuo: This new trial includes both Normal and Extreme difficulties. The official Enuo synopsis: Wielding the boundless power of the void, they rise from depths unfathomable─the dread sovereign Enuo!

New Unreal Trial – Shinryu’s Domain (Unreal): This new Unreal trial lets players take on the mighty Shinryu at level 100. The official synopsis is: The faux commander craves a tale of fierce battle raging above the clouds. Your clash with the mighty Shinryu leads to only two possible fates: your opponent’s demise, or your bloody remains strewn across the heavens.

New Crystaline Conflict Stage — Archeia Harmonias: The updates to PvP shouldn’t come as a surprise with the announcement of Evolved Mode, which is reminiscent of PvP’s condensed hotbar layout. The official synopsis is: The aetherometer and aetherial bridges present new obstacles to overcome, while healing glyphs unlock new strategies to master. Adapt quickly to grasp victory!

New Main Scenario Quests — Trail to the Heavens – Part 1: As Yoshida noted in the Fan Fest keynote, Patch 7.5 marks the start of the journey to Evercold. The official synopsis for the new MSQ is: Returned from the levin-wracked lands of the Ninth, the Warrior of Light and their companions resume investigations into the key. Yet as they begin to unravel its mysteries, an ally’s unsettling message threatens to draw their attention elsewhere…
