Netflix has been one of the premier streaming platforms for audiences to watch Korean television. The streamer even highlights the upcoming series and films on their “K-Content” YouTube channel. And those series keep expanding. Netflix has announced the new series You and Everything Else, which premieres on Friday, September 12, 2025.

The series delves into the complicated and often painful dynamics of a lifelong friendship between two best friends whose bond is tested by comparison and competition.

Starring Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun, the series explores the quiet truths and unspoken feelings that can fracture even the closest relationships. The show’s teaser trailer and poster have already been released, giving audiences a glimpse into the emotional drama.

What is You And Everything Else about?

The series follows two childhood best friends, Ryu Eun-jung and Cheon Sang-yeon, whose lives have been tightly intertwined since childhood. Through every chapter of their lives, from their school days to adulthood, the show navigates the fine line between love, admiration, and resentment.

The teaser trailer opens with an intense argument, showcasing the deep-seated hurt between the two characters and raising the question of whether their friendship can survive. You and Everything Else promises to be a relatable and heartfelt exploration of how friendships can be as painful as they are loving, laying bare the quiet truths of unspoken jealousy and the difficult emotions that can cause even the closest people to drift apart.

When to watch You And Everything Else?

The series will round out the back half of Netflix’s K-content schedule this Fall. It premieres exclusively on Netflix September 12, 2025.

Production Details

You and Everything Else is a notable collaboration between director Jo Young-min, known for his work on Do You Like Brahms? and The Interest of Love, and writer Song Hye-jin, who previously wrote The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.

You and Everything Else releases exclusively on Netflix September 12, 2025.
