Prime Video is gearing up to drop all five episodes of Surf Girls: International Season 2, hitting screens exclusively on the streamer starting July 17, 2025. Get ready to dive into the high-stakes world of competitive surfing as the docuseries from Hello Sunshine and TOGETHXR spotlights five incredible female athletes chasing their dreams on the Challenger Series.

In Season 1, Surf Girls: Hawai’i, the docuseries focused on the next generation of Native Hawaiian female surfers competing at elite levels to earn a coveted spot on the World Tour of professional Surfing. This 4-part series offers behind-the-scenes access as they train, navigate family responsibilities, and battle against the highest-ranking surfers to get to the top of the podium. Now, it’s international.

Surf Girls: International is executive produced by a powerhouse team including Reese Witherspoon, Sara Rea, Sue Kinkead, and Tyler O’Neil of Hello Sunshine; Jessica Robertson, Tina Tozzi, and Brett Bouttier of TOGETHXR; Ryan Crosby and Jed Pearson IV of World Surf League (WSL); Monica Medellin; and Leslie Garvin, who also serves as showrunner. The series is produced for Prime Video by Hello Sunshine and TOGETHXR.

Surf Girls: International follows five up-and-coming female surfers representing their home countries as they travel the world competing in the Challenger Series. This season will feature the stories of both new and returning athletes who are forging their own paths in the world of female surfing.

The official trailer and key art have already been released, giving fans a sneak peek at the intense journeys and breathtaking action awaiting them. The series will be available to Prime members in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Meet the Women of Surf Girls: International Season 2 

This season of Surf Girls: International promises to bring viewers closer to the lives of these phenomenal athletes as they navigate personal challenges and fierce competition in pursuit of a coveted spot on the World Surf Tour.

  • Ewe Wong (Native Hawai’ian) is the series’ breakout star from Season One.
  • Sophia Medina (Brazil) is from a surfing family, breaking barriers for female surfers.
  • Kika Veselko (Portugal) is a highly motivated and relentless individual in her pursuit of growth.
  • Jessie Van Niekerk (South Africa) brings infectious energy and has sacrificed everything for her passion.
  • Sol Aguirre (Peru, 2024 Olympian) is focusing on her mental game.

Surf Girls: International Season 2 premieres exclusively on Prime Video July 17, 2025.
