What to expect from the first season of Steel Hunters!

With this new season, the development team continues to empower the community to shape and evolve the game through their active feedback. This version contains some exciting updates, including:

  • Streamlined HUD: The in-game HUD has been updated and simplified to improve readability and reduce on-screen clutter.
  • Enhanced Unique Skill Tree Nodes: The credit cost for unique nodes has decreased by 50%, addressing concerns that they were previously too expensive. Credits spent on these nodes before this change will be fully refunded.
  • Clearer Match Progression Indicators: The visibility of these indicators has been significantly improved to provide greater transparency regarding the impact of upgrades and level progression during matches.
  • Faster Ammo Recharge: Ammo recharge times have been sped up, especially when players are low on mags.
  • Improved Melee Combat: Cooldowns and attack ranges for melee combat have been adjusted to make melee engagements feel less restrictive and more dynamic.
  • Heatbreaker Rebalance: Large updates to her Railgun and Sonar Pulse are being rolled out to enhance team play. Key changes include more power in her scoped fire and additional support utility in Sonar Pulse.

You can join the hunt now via the Wargaming Game Center and Steam.

What is Steel Hunters?

Steel Hunters is an online, mech-hero shooter that seamlessly combines Battle Royale and Extraction mechanics. Players take command of formidable mechanical giants called Hunters, engaging in dynamic duo PvPvE battles on the Hunting Grounds. Fight to collect Starfall on an abandoned Earth and use combat tactics to turn rivals into scrap.

Set in a futuristic world, Steel Hunters tells the story of humanity’s fight for survival following a catastrophic event. Hunters were created to secure a rare extraterrestrial resource called Starfall. In their clash for domination, Corporations and Factions transformed Hunters into fearsome combat machines, used in the race to conquer the scarce resource across the ruins of a green but abandoned Earth.

Steel Hunters offers an intense mech power fantasy where you control formidable mechanical giants – Hunters – and participate in action-packed battles, pursuing various objectives to level up and acquire gear. Each Hunter comes with its own distinct playstyle, unique ability kits, and progression systems that allow for a variety of strategies and tactics to outmatch opponents as they push toward the final showdown at the extraction point.

Choose from an elite roster—including Razorside, Heartbreaker, Fenris, Ursus, Trenchwalker, Prophet, and Weaver—each armed with devastating abilities and ready to dominate dynamic battlegrounds like Crimson Ridge, Maryland Heights, and Stonecutter Keep.
