EA Sports FC 27 ended ratings week by revealing the FC 27 NWSL player ratings. Ratings Week is always a blast, and EA Sports FC always gives the international football community something to debate about: the stats and rankings of the world’s top players.
If you’re unfamiliar, EA Sports assigns player ratings using “authentic match data.” In this year’s game, EA Sports has to assign ratings to over 21,000 players across more than 800 clubs and national teams. Last year’s release of EA Sports FC marked the start of some changes in the game, and EA Sports FC 27 is going to be even more different.

The top 10 FC 27 NWSL player ratings come after the developers released the Top 27 players for both men’s and women’s players in the game, and the MLS player ratings. With each new year showing more love to women footballers, the NWSL getting its own spotlight feels great.
Temwa Chawinga has the #1 FC 27 NWSL Player OVR.
The KC Current have two of the top five spots for the top 10 from the FC 7 NWSL player ratings. The Current’s Temwa Chawinga taking the top spot on the listwith an 89 OVR (the same as Lionel Messi).
The decorated LM, is fresh off of making WAFCON history with her sister Tabitha Chawinga during this summer’s games for the Malawi national team, and now she can add top MLS player in FC 27 to her list.
KC Current’s Débora C. de Oliveira comes in at number four with an 87 OVR, giving the Current not one, but two players at the very top of the FC 7 NWSL player ratings. Rounding out the top five players are Sophia Wilson of the Portland Thorns and the Orlando Pride’s Barbara Banda, both with an 88 OVR, and Rose Lavelle of Gotahm FC who ties with de Oliveira at an 87 OVR.
Gotham FC is dominant in the FC 27 NWSL player ratings.
Lavelle’s spot in the list is also the start of Gotham FC’s powerful presence in the FC 27 NWSL player ratings. Lavelle’s Gotham FC teammate, Ann-Katrin Berger comes, making a three-way tie out of the 87 OVR, and puts a spotlight on Goal Keepers.
Guro Reiten, Gotham FC’s LB, slides into the list at number eight with an OVR of 86, and striker Sam Kerr closes out the top 10 list with an 85 OVR. With second, fifth, sixth, eighth, and tenth, Gotham FC doesn’t just have a foothold on the MLS in FC 27, they’re owning it.
The remianing FC 27 NSWL player ratings’ top 10 are Washington Spirit’s LM Trinity Rodman and the Denver Summit’s CM Lindsey Heaps. The two athletes have an 87 (yup, that’s a 4-way tie) and 86 OVR eespectively. While the women in the NWSL may not claim many spots in the Top 27 FC 27 OVRs for women athletes, it’s still impressive.
