Twin Sails-But Why Tho

Twin Sails Interactive has exciting news from the PC Gaming Show for two must-play games in its upcoming line-up! The 1.0 version of Ember Knights, the co-op and solo action roguelite from developer Doom Turtle, will officially launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch on July 18, 2023. In addition, Twin Sails announced it is partnering with developers Different Sense Games and Lazy Bear Games (creators of Graveyard Keeper and Punch Club) to publish Bloomtown: A Different Story, an enthralling JRPG featuring monster-taming and social RPG elements set in a pixel-art slice of 1960s Americana. The news came with the reveal of Bloomtown’s first gameplay trailer for PC and consoles.

Ember Knights, Doom Turtle’s Overwhelmingly Positive action roguelite, will launch into 1.0 on Steam and Nintendo Switch on July 18! As Ember Knights prepares to exit early access on PC and debut on consoles for the first time, players will discover a wide range of new gameplay elements and improvements added to the game across 11 content updates and countless smaller patches throughout early access with direct feedback from the community. The 1.0 release will feature the game’s fifth world and the final fight against the mad sorcerer Praxis, as well as a new weapon, boss variation, and endgame content.

Become an Ember Knight, the last spark of hope for a universe in turmoil. Dive into intense hack-and-slash battles in solo and co-op action for up to four players, perfect for adventurers of all skill levels. Customize your play style with six weapons plus dozens of skills and relics against over 60 enemies and bosses while exploring vivid pixel-art visuals and environments with a 16-bit retro vibe

Ember Knights is available now on Steam Early Access.

Furthermore, Twin Sails is teaming up with developers Different Sense Games and Lazy Bear Games, creators of Graveyard Keeper and Punch Club, to publish Bloomtown: A Different Story, a single-player, turn-based JRPG coming to PC and consoles. Bloomtown offers a unique blend of JRPG, monster-taming, and social RPG elements, all set in an exciting pixel-art world inspired by 1960s Americana. Bloomtown is a quiet and cozy American town, but this is only a facade – a demon world is growing beneath the surface, children are disappearing, and it’s up to you to save the town!

Join Emily and her group of friends and battle otherworldly forces that embody the fears and vices of Bloomtown’s citizens in turn-based tactical combat. Tame monsters from the Underside and create your own demon-hunting squad with unique team synergies. Time in Bloomtown cannot be stopped, so spend it wisely! Explore the city’s secret areas, exercise at the gym, work at the grocery store, take up gardening, or make resourceful friends. The decisions – and the adventure – are yours!

Bloomtown: A Different Story is available to wishlist now on Steam.
