Join fantastical festivities at the Day of the Dead carnival alongside Detective Pablo Cruz, currently masquerading as a mariachi player, to investigate an evil curse looming over the serene town of Santa Mascota. Encounter whimsical characters, get to the bottom of eerie mysteries, and engage in thrilling swordplay to take down Don Emilio Obregon, the corrupt mayor of Santa Mascota moonlighting as a crime lord. Locate the prophesied talisman said to awaken a fallen, hostile army in Obregon’s possession.

Explore stylish yet traditional Mexico locales, such as historic haciendas, taverns, churches, and ancient ruins. Investigate clues and earn power-ups for the detective work ahead. Execute undercover assignments inspired by the Mexican interpretation of Lady Death. Collect fascinating antiques to adorn the home base. Socialize with Santa Mascota’s charming denizens and complete their quests to unlock new endings.

Call on a trusty Cuirassier saber when confronting fast-footed fiends and enigmatic enemies inspired by classical Spanish and Aztec folklore. Learn new combat techniques and become a master swordsman with attacks, parries, and guards, or simply utilize the surroundings to take out challengers. Catch adversaries off guard with the supernatural La Sombra ability, granted by Lady Death, to disappear and reappear from view. Clever and precise swordplay is the key to confronting the dastardly Don.

“We’ve put a piece of our Mexican culture, and therefore our very souls, within Mariachi Legends,” said Miguel Hasson, Creative Director of Halberd Studios. “Infusing our love of video games with our beautiful history, culture, and ethnology is a dream come true. We learned countless lessons as a studio when putting the finishing touches on 9 Years of Shadows, so our fans can fully expect the bar to be raised with our next game!”

Mariachi Legends is coming to PC via Steam, Epic Game Store, and GOG in 2024. To learn more, visit Halberd Studios’ official website, join the community on Twitter and Discord, and search #MariachiLegends on social media.
