The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country - The Glass House

Acclaimed horror writer James Tynion IV (Something Is Killing The Children, DC’s The Nice House On The Lake) had his eye on The Sandman during his early career, biding his time to pay tribute to Neil Gaiman’s mythos—and now he’s launching the second cycle of his The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country series of comics! With lush, gorgeous art from Redneck’s Lisandro Estherren, The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country – The Glass House welcomes new readers into one of the greatest and most terrifying worlds in DC’s library.

In the first issue of DC’s The Glass House comic book series, launching on Tuesday, April 11, The Corinthian has been turned loose on our realm once more, and this time he sets his sights on the very root of rapacious American capitalism—Silicon Valley. His relentless pursuit of the Smiling Man will carve a bloody path from the C-suite of Prophet Capital to the bowels of a demonic nightclub, and no one will be safe from his reach. Not Ken, living large in the Bay Area since parting ways with Barbie all those years ago. Not Max, a nervous hedge fund manager on the rise who’s never quite fit anywhere. Not anyone.

“The Corinthian will go head-to-head with Angels, Demons, and a breed of creature far more terrifying than anything he’s faced before—Venture Capitalists,” said Tynion. “Lisandro and I are thrilled to continue this nightmare tour through modern America and can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve got in store for you.”

The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country – The Glass House, launching on April 11, 2023, brings multiple Eisner Award-winning writer James Tynion IV back together with superstar horror artist Lisandro Estherren to bring you the nightmare-fueled follow-up you’ve been craving, a tale that will plumb the bottomless depths of our yearning for more at the heart of the American dream. Look for it on shelves at your local comic book store beginning April 11.
