DC Comics has had a much slower week when compared to the mega 15 issues they dropped last week (check that list out here). This week, however, there are just four issues that make the DC Comics June 29th list in total. So I selected the entire list to give you, the reader, a great overview of what exactly DC is bringing to comic shops this week.
Infinite Frontier: Secret Files #1
Creative team: Joshua Williamson, Brandon Thomas, Valentine de Landro, Marissa Louise, Tríona Farrell, Tom Napolitano, Stephanie Phillips, Inaki Miranda, Nick Filardi, Dan Watters, Stephen Byrne, Phil Hester, Ande Parks, Christopher Mitten, and Dave Stewart
Director Bones opens up his classified records to give us all-new stories about the players in INFINITE FRONTIER. First up, President Superman from Earth 23, asking the question: can the hero who has time for everyone ever find time for himself? Issue #2: How does Roy Harper, a one-time teen sidekick, the boy they called Speedy, and the man they called Arsenal deal with regaining an existence that wasn’t meant to be? Issue #3: Jade and Obsidian were born into a superhero family. Their dad is the original Green Lantern, and those are big shoes to fill. Some say a hero is best defined by their villains, and that will be put to the test with the arrival of Chroma! Issue #4: Enter the Totality, a superpowered think tank comprised of the DCU’s finest minds. But how will this special team measure up when they meet their counterparts from another Earth? Issue #5: Detective Bones has been examining all the potential players across the Multiverse. What Bones should never forget, however, is sometimes when you stare into the Multiverse, the Multiverse looks right back at you. Issue #6: The Psycho Pirate is the only being who has been there for Crisis. Yet even he doesn’t realize how important a part he plays, or just how integral he is to what happens next.
Infinite Frontier is building up quite a roster, and the current team is certainly made up of some fascinating characters. If you’re looking for a long read this weekend, definitely take a gander at this hefty-packed issue.

Catwoman Annual 2021 #1
Creative team: Ram V, Kyle Hotz, Fernando Blanco, Juan Ferreyra, David Baron, Tom Napolitano
Father Valley is a mystery. Bear witness to Father Valley’s past with the Order of St. Dumas, and his unexpected connection with Azrael, to learn the method of his madness. And see, once and for all, why Catwoman should be deathly afraid of being on his hit list.
Catwoman is in trouble; now is the time to learn why. Ram V creates an origin story of Father Valley that is born of tragedy and violence. The story is ruthless, the art is great, and the next issue will be really entertaining to watch things unfold.

For the last eight decades, Green Arrow has been one of the premier (and loudest) characters in the DCU, always at the forefront of where the superhero genre is headed. This oversized anniversary issue follows in those footsteps, as an all-star lineup of Green Arrow creators, alongside some of the gifted creators of the modern era who have been inspired by Oliver Queen, unite to pay tribute to the Battling Bowman. See what the past, present, and future have in store for Oliver Queen, Black Canary, Connor Hawke, Arsenal, Red Arrow, Speedy, and more in this epic special!
I don’t know what else I can add other than, have you seen that talent list?! With twelve stories all celebrating Green Arrow, this is another great overly stuffed issue to grab for the holiday weekend.
