Love Untangled YA romance film takes us back to 1998 to follow the story of 19-year-old Park Se-ri, played by Shin Eun-Soo. Se-ri is on a mission to straighten her perpetually frizzy hair before a life-changing confession. However, things get complicated when she finds herself entangled with transfer student Han Yun-seok, portrayed by Gong Myoung.

The teaser trailer gives us a glimpse into Se-ri’s past failed confessions. Experienced in the art of unrequited love, Se-ri teams up with her friends and the new transfer student, Han Yun-seok, to launch “Operation Love.” Their goal? To help Se-ri confess her feelings to the school’s most popular boy, Kim Hyun (Cha Woo-Min).

Throughout her hilarious and sometimes clumsy attempts, Se-ri’s adorable and lively personality shines through. But as the story unfolds, a subtle and budding chemistry between Yun-seok and Se-ri hints at an intriguing love triangle that’s sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Adding to the charm, the film is filled with ’90s nostalgia, featuring items like cassette tapes, 35mm film cameras, and camcorders that will surely evoke a sense of vintage romance. This refreshing story, with its blend of bubbly youthful energy and a heartfelt plot, is set to tug at everyone’s heartstrings.
