Saber Interactive, in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, released a new video that gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Jurassic Park Survival. We’re back in the age of dinosaurs after the success of the latest Jurassic World film, Jurassic World: Rebirth and with two games launching soon (hopefully).

In a Behind The Scenes video, Saber Interactive invites players in to see how the teams at Saber and NBCUniversal are working together to create an immersive experience fans have wanted for decades: the chance to explore a fully realized Isla Nublar. While I’ve been in love with the management sims from Frontier Development and their DLC that have taken players into managing their own parks, Jurassic Park Survival feels like something I didn’t I know I needed.

This new story is set just one day after the events of the iconic 1993 film that raised the standards for practical effects in cinema. Players get to be a part of the world of Jurassic Park and ultimately explore the island that even today over 20 years after the film released has a special place in pop culture and cinematic history.

The video takes fans back to the original Jurassic Park has been a project years in the making. Saber Interactive meticulously worked with the NBCUniversal team to recreate the wonders and dangers of Isla Nublar in painstaking detail. Players will get to visit the park’s most iconic locations, as well as discover new landmarks and surprises never seen before.

What is Jurassic Park Survival about?

As the scientist, players experience an intense mix of first-person stealth and action gameplay. They will face thrilling encounters with the island’s unique dinosaurs, brought to life with special attention to capturing their authentic look, movement, and behavior from the film.

Game features shared by Saber Interactive:
