Set in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, the series follows an FBI agent, played by Mark Ruffalo, who is tasked with leading a task force to put a stop to a series of violent robberies. The investigation leads him to an unexpected suspect, an unassuming family man portrayed by Tom Pelphrey, who is the leader of the robbery ring.

The show explores the high-stakes conflict between the two men as the FBI agent grapples with his own past and the complexities of the case. The series promises a gritty and tense crime drama that delves into the lives of its characters.
