Crunchyroll took center stage at Anime NYC 2025 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The Crunchyroll Showcase panel delivered a number of announcements for upcoming titles, including a first look at the long-awaited finale of the popular series Fire Force.

Fire Force Season 3 Part 2, the concluding installment of the fiery series produced by David Production. The anime’s final season is set to ignite in January 2026 and will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Also premiering at the showcase was the main trailer and a new key visual for Let’s Play. The trailer revealed that musician Toshinobu Kubota will be performing both the opening theme song, “1, 2, Play,” and the ending theme song, “Left & Right.” The romantic comedy is an adaptation of Leeanne Krecic’s wildly popular webcomic, which has garnered over 700 million views and seven million subscribers worldwide, and was produced by OLM (Pokémon; The Apothecary Diaries).

In addition to these reveals, Crunchyroll announced the acquisition of several new Japanese anime series, including a world premiere trailer for There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her. The series is expected to arrive on the streaming platform in the future.
