Netflix has officially announced that production has commenced on All Of Us Are Dead Season 2—the highly successful Korean young adult zombie series is looking to keep heads turning this season. But don’t worry, the All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 cast will feature some audience favorites.

The first season, which premiered in 2022 and is based on Joo Dong-geun’s popular webtoon, became a global phenomenon, accumulating over 560 million viewing hours within 28 days of its release. It went on to become one of Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched non-English series of all time, charting in the Top 10 in more than 90 countries.

About Season 1, our critic said, “All Of Us Are Dead is the best zombie story I’ve seen in years; it has a cast of compelling characters, a truly frightening set of zombies, and a setting that presents challenge after challenge for its protagonists. ”

The new season will see the return of Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon as survivors of the original Hyosan outbreak. They are joined by new cast members Lee Min-jae (Weak Hero: Class 2), Kim Si-eun (Squid Game Season 2), Roh Jae-won (Squid Game Seasons 2 & 3), and Yoon Ga-i. This season, the zombie outbreak spreads to a new location, forcing a fresh group of characters into the fight for survival.

What is All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 about?

After enduring the catastrophic zombie outbreak at Hyosan High, Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) is now a university student in Seoul, grappling with the trauma and the loss of her friends. However, a new wave of infection unexpectedly strikes Seoul, thrusting her back into another deadly battle for survival, this time without the companions she once relied on.

All eyes are on how Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Lee Su-hyeok (Lomon) are navigating their lives years after the initial outbreak. Meanwhile, On-jo develops friendships with her university seniors Yong Ma-ru (Lee Min-jae), So Ju-ran (Kim Si-eun), and Lee Jong-a (Yoon Ga-i), a group that has found ways to survive amidst the zombie apocalypse. Han Du-seok (Roh Jae-won) adds further tension to the narrative as a team leader within the National Intelligence Service.
