Kadokawa has released a new teaser PV for “New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt,” the latest installment of the MADE IN JAPAN cartoon-like anime Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt—a series that sparked global buzz after its 2010 debut.

Additionally, the same PV reveals exciting details about the main cast! Arisa Ogasawara returns as Panty, and Mariya Ise reprises her role as Stocking, joined by many other key cast members from the original series. New additions include Akeno Watanabe as Knee Socks and Yuko Natsuyoshi as the voice of Fastener.
Kadowkawa also shared additional details about the main staff, and music has been unveiled! Continuing from the original series, ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo) and TeddyLoid will handle the music again. Get ready for this new installment, promising to be even more dynamic and thrilling after 14 years—stay tuned!

Each episode has its own unique tone and I had a great time creating music in a variety of styles to match that. This time, we also worked on the production while having sessions with different track makers. Compared to the previous series, I was able to communicate even more closely with the TRIGGER staff, so I’d love for you to check out how the visuals and music synchronize this time!”
What will happen in the PANTY & STOCKING sequel?
Kadowkawa has released the official synopsis for the upcoming studio Trigger series: In Daten City, a realm between heaven and hell, sinister spirits known as “Ghosts” prowl the streets, feeding on human desires and resentment. Yet, in the darkest moments, two figures emerge to obliterate these vengeful beings with a divine light beyond human understanding.
Their names? Panty & Stocking! These fallen angel sisters have been tasked with purging the darkness engulfing the earth. But who are they, really? Are they truly messengers of God… or agents of the Devil?
