BLUE LOCK Season 2’s fierce match for survival will climax next month, with the final two episodes of the anime series’s second season airing back-to-back. Fans won’t want to miss the intense conclusion of the battle between the BLUE LOCK Eleven and Japan’s U-20 national team. BLUE LOCK Season 2’s BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN airs weekly on Saturdays, exclusively on Crunchyroll.

The final two episodes of BLUE LOCK Season 2 will air on Saturday, December 28 at 9:00 am PT, exclusively on Crunchyroll. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Yusuke Nomura (serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine”).

What happens in BLUE LOCK Season 2?

BLUE LOCK follows the dreams of 300 high school students who aim to lead the Japanese Men’s National Team to the next World Cup championship as their ace striker. To become the best, they join the BLUE LOCK project, a high-risk training program where anyone eliminated is forever barred from joining the Japanese National Team. Think battle anime, but it’s on the pitch instead of an arena.

The series pits the best-rising players in Japan against each other, and only the most confident and skilled players will emerge from this program.

In BLUE LOCK Season 2, 35 participants survived the grueling selection process, and now they face their greatest challenge in this ego-driven frenzy: the U-20 Japan National Team (Under 20 Japan National Team). But it all leaves one question: can they meet this challenge and prove the value of the BLUE LOCK player improvement project? Rising egoists can leave their mark on the world of soccer.
