NEXON and Neople released a brand-new cinematic and gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan (Khazan) at gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL). With this new trailer also came the launch window, which is set for early 2025. The game will come to Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X | S. Neople, the Dungeon & Fighter (DNF) developer, is allowing players to get their hands on early gameplay at the gamescom 2024 show floor and broader through a Technical Closed Beta Test happening via PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X starting on October 11, 2024.

The First Berserker: Khazan is a hardcore action role-playing game developed by Neople, available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 (PS5), and Xbox Series X | S in early 2025. The player will become Khazan, the great general of the Pell Los Empire, who overcame death and set out to reveal the incidents that led to his downfall and seek vengeance on his enemies. Survive the relentless pursuit of imperial forces, navigate conspiracies aimed at killing Khazan, and overcome the harsh environments encountered.

Experience diverse mechanics and various patterns with the newly revealed Spear and Greatsword. Those interested in learning more about Khazan can jump into the first-ever public hands-on during Gamescom from August 21 to August 25, located at 9.1 Hall B-029.

During their hands-on time, players will get to experience a variety of features for The First Berserker: Khazan, as detailed by the publisher:

  • A Compelling Story – As the forgotten hero, players will reclaim battle-hardened skills forged in fierce combat, seeking vengeance against those who defame and oppose them.
  • Hardcore Action & Diverse Mechanics – Players can engage in thrilling combat that evolves in style and tempo as the character grows by successfully tackling more challenging missions, facing formidable bosses, acquiring powerful gears, and more.
  • Immersive Graphics & 3D Cel Animation—Through realistically depicted backgrounds and character motions, players can feel as if they are watching a dark fantasy drawn through unique cartoon-style rendering and intricate actions.

Additionally, those who won’t be attending Gamescom can still participate in the first Technical Closed Beta playtest for The First Berserker: Khazan from October 11 to October 20. Detailed information on how to participate is available on the official website.
