At The Game Awards 2023, Singularity 6 announced that Palia will launch on Nintendo Switch at 8 a.m. PT on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Just in time to cozy up by the fire with friends for the holiday season, Palia will offer players full cross-play and cross-progression support from Nintendo Switch to PC, and is free to play across platforms. Nintendo Switch owners can pre-order Palia for free from the Nintendo eShop now. Players will receive exclusive rewards when they link their Nintendo Switch to their Palia account at launch, including a Freshly Painted Froggy Bucket, a Mushroom Glider, and a Leapfroggy Outfit.

Since its release on PC in August 2023, Palia has captivated players around the world through its vibrant world, deep lore, genre-defining cozy gameplay mechanics, online community sim MMO features, and adventurous quests. As an intimate, shared-world online multiplayer gameplay experience that emphasizes relaxation, community, and developing meaningful in-game connections in lieu of combat or competitive mechanics as primary methods of play, Palia has become a home away from home for many.

Players who pre-order Palia for free on Nintendo Switch can anticipate all of these features and more, as Singularity 6 is committed to its community by providing consistent and high-quality updates at a regular cadence that support full cross-play and cross-progression across platforms. W

Players who link their Palia Account to their Nintendo Account will get:

  • Freshly Painted Froggy Bucket Log-in Reward: Log-in and play Palia starting on launch day to claim this time-limited crimson variant of the fan-favorite Froggy Bucket before the reward window croaks in March 2024.

  • Mushroom Glider Account Linking Reward: Link your Nintendo Switch to a Palia account to receive an exclusive glider that will have you traversing the Palian landscape faster than a rogue ‘Flothinger.’

  • Leapfroggy Outfit Account Linking Reward: Switch up your look and hop around in style when you link your Nintendo Switch to your Palia account before Jan. 15 to earn the time-limited Leapfroggy Outfit reward.

And Palians on both Nintendo Switch and PC can look forward to simultaneous new content across platforms, such as Palia’s Winter update, including a blizzard of new quests, festive decor, playful snowball fights, the launch of our APAC server, and much more to come.

Palia launches on the Nintendo Switch December 14, 2023.
