TOMORROW X TOGETHER and Hiroyuki Sawano Come Together For Solo Leveling OP

Crunchyroll announced some very exciting news regarding the Solo Leveling anime coming to screens next year. K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aka TxT, a group formed under HYBE, the label that is also home to BTS lend their voices to the Solo Leveling opening theme song.

One of the kpop bands on the rise from HYBE TxT is bringing the opening to life for the anime based on the best selling manhwa (Korean graphic novel) series. The opening theme song, “LEveL,” which is previewed in the trailer, is a joint collaboration between Japanese composer and singer SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] (also known as Hiroyuki Sawano) and South Korean pop band TxT for Solo Leveling.

TxT is known for the songs “0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)” (featuring Seori), “Angel or Devil,” and “Crown.” They debuted in 2019. TxT has five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai all set to take on Solo Leveling.

Hiroyuki Sawano is a renowned Japanese composer, arranger, lyricist, pianist, and music producer who is known for the scores in Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Exorcist, and many others.

The Solo Leveling anime adaptation, based on the digital comic series published on Tappytoon of the same name by DUBU (REDICE Studio), Chugong and h-goon, is directed by Shunsuke Nakashige at A-1 Pictures with writing by Noboru Kimura, anime character designs by Tomoko Sudo, monster designs by Hirotaka Tokuda. The anime premieres in January 2024, with Crunchyroll set to stream the series.
