Leading video game developer Bandai Namco Online Inc. and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that GUNDAM EVOLUTION, the franchise’s first-ever free-to-play hero shooter, is now available on PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One in North America, Europe, and Japan. Additionally, the recently announced GUNDAM EVOLUTION Season 2 has officially kicked off and is set to introduce a variety of new features and updates in two half-season intervals.

The first Season 2 update is now available and includes the following:

Addition of the new unit Nu Gundam

New Destruction rule “Colony Trading Post” map

170 new custom items for the Season 2 Mobius update

Ability to change one’s player name

New custom match functionalities (PC version only. Console version under development)

Spectator Mode

Coaching Function

Time Out Function

Room ID Change Function

Ranked match adjustments (various changes to rating and matchmaking systems)

Distribution of season Title rewards

Unit Pack Mobius item set (contents are as follows)

New unit Nu Gundam

Various campaigns will continue to be implemented throughout Season 2 so that players can enjoy GUNDAM EVOLUTION during the holiday season.

The Season 2 update is themed around the anime film “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack,” and details can be found in a top-secret Mission Briefing accessible at the following link. Meanwhile, a trailer spotlighting the theme of Season 2, Mobius, can be viewed here.

GUNDAM EVOLUTION is a free-to-play team-based first-person shooter featuring 6v6 PvP combat with playable mobile suits from across the Gundam universe. The game offers three objective-based game modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction. The title presents a unique set of challenges that require teams to craft and execute formidable offensive and defensive strategies to emerge victorious.

GUNDAM EVOLUTION is now available for PC via STEAM in parts of North America, Europe, Asia, and Japan. Service areas for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One are listed on the official website.
