Revenge of the Savage Planet Comes to Two Point Museum

Two Point Museum Winter Update - Revenge of the Savage Planet Crossover

Two Point Museum is one of our best-rated games of the year. Having released multiple DLC this year already, the free Two Point Museum Winter Update is expanding the game once again, but this time with a crossover from Raccoon Logic’s Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Another top game for our critics, Revenge of the Savage Planet, matches the same playfulness and humor that Two Point management sims are known for. In our review of the Raccoon Logic title, we said, “Revenge of the Savage Planet is a testament to building on a solid foundation and letting creativity lead the way. Whether it’s the puzzles, the platforming, the creature design, or the ace comedic dialogue, this game delivers in every single way. Co-op or solo, it’s just pure joy, and it comes from a satirical take on working that hits close to home.”

The crossover also goes both ways, byexploring Pointian exhibits in Revenge of the Savage Planet, marking the growth that the game and the studio have had over this past year.

The free Two Point Museum Winter Update includes new features to improve quality of life and showcase how easily this management sim can expand by adding other properties. For a full list of what is coming with the Winter Update, you can read the full dev blog here, but here are the highlights.

What is the Two Point Museum – Revenge of the Savage Planet Crossover?

Players will be able to include vibrant extraterrestrial flora, environmental oddities, and creatures that may or may not obey the laws of physics in their exhibits, as well as inject even more humor into their museum.

Branded as a “chaotic crossover that blends the frantic havoc of Raccoon Logic Studios’ Revenge of the Savage Planet with the delightfully disastrous management mayhem fans know and fear,” this is already my favorite addition to Two Point Museum. And we’re still in the launch year!

The official synopsis for the crossover sent via press release offers endless entertainment for players:

Curators are now officially encouraged (not legally required) to curate the galaxy. Following the discovery of a mysterious rift, brave curators will hop from planet to planet exploring three distinct Points of Interest and recover exhibits from the strange and savage world of Revenge of the Savage Planet. Along the way, curators will wrangle temperamental life forms and bitey flora such as Arid Maw and Fungal Maw and delight visitors with exhibits that are as colourful as they are unpredictably mischievous. Survival-lite expeditions, unexpected experiments, and scientifically questionable discoveries await every curator!

New Exhibits For The Two Point Museum Winter Update

There are six brand-new exhibits to recover, plus new Staff Room additions focused on “team bonding” rather than safety. Curators can install a High-Five Machine and a staff-sized Hamster Wheel (taking advantage of Raccoon Logic’s humor toward capitalism), then dress staff for interstellar duty in a brand-new outfit

Here is what’s included in Two Point Museum – Revenge of the Savage Planet crossover, as shared by Two Point Studios:

  • Experts can explore the world of Revenge of the Savage Planet, visiting Stellaris Prime, Xephyr, and the Zenithian Rift
  • Collect six new exhibits, including Botany Exhibits, as well as new Terrarium and Habitat creatures
  • Create a real sci-fi feel with new decorative items and a new vending machine
  • Get ready for interstellar travel with a new Staff Outfit and Staff Room items
  • Discover a brand-new set of Materials for creating items in the Workshop

What’s new in the Two Point Museum Winter Update?

  • Jungle Centrepiece – Eaten Track POI
  • Desert Centrepiece – Parched Prairie POI
  • Grassland Centrepiece – Goldrush Stream POI
  • Arctic Centrepiece – Iceberg Dip POI

Two Point Museum is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and has been verified for Steam Deck.
