EA and Capital Games, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, are celebrating 10 years of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes this year. To make the milestone for the title, Capital Games is also launching a massive “Season of Anniversary” update. The update features new content, including The Coliseum experience, Era Levels, and new versions of fan-favorite characters. They’ve also released a trailer, which you can view below.
What is the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Season of Anniversary update?

If you aren’t familiar with Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, it’s a free-to-play turn-based RPG that emphasizes strategic gameplay.
This milestone update invites new and returning players to command squads of iconic Star Wars heroes and villains in epic holotable battles where they will embark on new challenges, take down massive bosses, and more. A mobile title, now is a good time to jump right in.

In a press release, the studio shared what’s coming in the new Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes 10th anniversary update, also called the Season of Anniversary update. You can read those key additions below.

Here’s what’s new:
- The Coliseum Arena: Set on the planet Batuu, The Coliseum is both a spectacle and an iconic battleground where players will encounter giant bosses, such as a Pirate AT-ST, a Jotaz, a Tomb Guardian, and a Dryax.
- Era Levels: A refined Seasonality system, Era Levels, allow both newcomers and day-one players to enjoy the latest marquee characters together by giving those who participate in seasonal content extra bonuses towards unlocking and powering up characters in the Legacy Content.
- New Character Versions: Throughout the season, players can unlock popular characters, including Stormtrooper Luke, a Yoda and Chewbacca combo unit, and Duel’s End Darth Vader, among many others.
