After 10 years of development and 8 years in Early Access, Escape from Tarkov is launching into early access this month, on November 15, 2025. To celebrate Escape from Tarkov 1.0, there will be a launch Twitch Drops offering players unique items for subscribing and watching streamers who play the game.
Additionally, developers Battlestate Games shared that EFT: Arena will receive Patch 0.4.05, which is estimated to take the same amount of time to install, which is around 24 hours.

Will I keep my progression at Escape from Tarkov 1.0 launch?
The answer here is yes and no. The release of Escape from Tarkov will be accompanied by a full wipe of all players’ PvP profiles.
Still, PvE mode players have the option to perform a voluntary account wipe, which can be requested on the Profile Page on the official website. If you do want to hold onto your PvE progress, it should be noted that an account wipe is required to begin the new story questline and access the release content.
Finally, the patch for EFT: Arena will be accompanied by a partial wipe of the game profile.
Escape From Tarkov 1.0 Launch Rewards And Sale
Upon release, the game will be available on Steam with a 15% launch discount for a limited time. Then, for two weeks following the release (from November 15 to November 29, 2025), a special discount will be active on the official game website, offering 30% off The Unheard Edition and 10% off all other editions.
Beta & Pre-Order Rewards
Battlestate Games has several deals available for new players. Beta test participants and players who placed a pre-order will receive exclusive permanent in-game rewards and will not be reset during profile wipes, according to the developers.
Escape from Tarkov 1.0 Launch Twitch Drops
The release episode of Tarkov TV will air on November 15, 2025, at 3:00 AM EST, marking the game’s official launch. Following the launch of Tarkov TV and the release of version 1.0, the Twitch Drops Event will begin in Escape from Tarkov.
- From November 15, 2025, starting at 6:30 AM EST to December 6, 2025, until 6:30 AM EST, viewers of streams in the “Escape from Tarkov” category will be guaranteed to receive unboxable containers with varying rarity levels of content, along with other rewards, at specific intervals.
- From November 15, 2025, at 6:30 AM EST to December 6, 2025, at 6:30 AM EST, Twitch Drops for subscribing to streamers will also be active. Rewards obtained through this campaign will remain with players even after a profile wipe.
The rewards available for this campaign are:
- A Hideout customisation set, including unique wall, ceiling, and floor variations – for one subscription
- A PMC dogtag for USEC and BEAR ‘Twitch’ – for three subscriptions
- Escape from Tarkov patch cap, Miller Bros. Blades M-2 Tactical Sword (Brown), and 3×2 Secure Container ‘Loui Peeton Belt Bag’ – for five subscriptions.
