What is Harlan Coben’s Lazarus?

The limited series is a psychological thriller that follows Joel Lazarus, who returns to his childhood home following the death of his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, who has reportedly died by suicide. Soon after arriving, Joel begins to have disturbing and inexplicable experiences, leading him to doubt the circumstances of his father’s death.

His personal investigation quickly entangles him in a series of cold-case murders, forcing him to confront not only the mystery of his father’s demise but also the trauma of his sister’s unsolved murder from 25 years ago. The show promises Coben’s trademark suspense and twists, this time with a hint of the supernatural, as Coben has previously referred to the story as “a little more of a ghost story, very visual.”
