What is Netflix’s Mantis about?

Mantis - Netflix Movie

The film’s plot follows Han-ul, also known as “Mantis,” an elite assassin who returns from a long absence to find his former company, MK Entertainment, in crisis. He decides to start a new venture, “Mantis Company,” with his former rival and fellow trainee, Jae-yi. The duo’s dynamic and ambition add unpredictability to their partnership.

The situation is further complicated by the reemergence of Dokgo, a legendary retired assassin and Han-ul’s former mentor, who aims to take control as the CEO of MK Entertainment. The tension is amplified by Benjamin, an investor and CEO of a gaming company, who recognizes Jae-yi’s talent and attempts to challenge her loyalty to Han-ul. This creates a complex web of shifting alliances and rivalries as each character vies for the top spot.

The main trailer highlights the film’s visually striking, rhythm-driven action and the intense competition among the three leads.
