The highly anticipated Ratings Week for EA Sports FC 26 has officially kicked off, giving fans the first look at the FC 26 top players in both men’s and women’s football. As you plan for your future Club, understanding who the EA Sports FC 26 best players are is central. 

For EA Sports 26, the developers have repeatedly emphasized that they’re striving for authenticity in an even deeper way than ever before, and more importantly, letting the community guide them. EA Sports FC 26 will feature a massive roster of more than 20,000 players.

In Football Ultimate Team, every player’s rating is relative to their league and the real-world athletes they play against, further contributing to the game’s unparalleled authenticity. The player ratings will remain consistent across all game modes, ensuring a unified and realistic experience, whether you’re playing with men’s or women’s teams. Throughout the week, EA will continue to roll out the full player ratings for the 750+ clubs and 35+ leagues featured in FC 26.

How does EA Sports decide on top player ratings?

EA Sports has once again powered these ratings with authentic, real-world match data, ensuring that the in-game performances of these athletes accurately reflect their on-pitch skills. The ratings reveal the cream of the crop from the world’s best leagues, featuring veteran superstars and rising prodigies.

EA Sports FC 26 Top Players 

For the first time in his career, Mohamed Salah has risen to claim a share of the top men’s rating spot, earning a formidable 91 overall rating. He joins forces with the world-renowned Kylian Mbappé, who also holds a 91 OVR, establishing a two-man reign at the very top.

On the women’s side, FC history is made as teammates Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí share the top women’s spot, each with an impressive 91 overall rating. Their combined excellence marks a significant moment for the women’s game within the FC franchise.

Rising Stars Get Updated Ratings

Beyond the top spots, a new generation of talent is making its mark with significant ratings increases. Lamine Yamal, a breakout star, has secured a spot in the top 10 men’s players and received the biggest upgrade in the game, an astounding +8 points since last year’s title. These upgrades promise to shake up the competitive landscape, introducing new and exciting options for building a winning squad.

 Other players who have seen their ratings climb and have entered the top 10 for the first time include Raphinha (+5) and Hakimi (+5) on the men’s side and Mariona (+5), Russo (+4), and Shaw (+3) for the women’s teams.
