Official Vindictus: Defying Fate Alpha Test Dates Now Revealed

Developer and publisher NEXON announced the official Alpha Test dates for Vindictus Defying Fate, which will launch globally on Steam from June 8th to June 16th (PDT). The countdown for the Alpha Test is officially on.

Building on the pre-alpha version tested in March 2024, the new alpha build introduces key features such as companion NPCs, upgraded combat systems, a new village and inventory system, and more! Players can sign up to dive into an action-packed world of intense combat, vibrant villages, and fearsome new foes here.

To celebrate the exciting news, the team has revealed the official Alpha Test Trailer, showcasing more characters, features, and gameplay that players can look forward to in the official test. Step into the charming and lively village key hub, populated by charming and unique NPCs, including the first appearance of the captivating character Tieve.

Next, dive into refined and dynamic combat with newly revealed characters—Lann, Fiona, Delia, and Karok—each showcasing smoother and even deadlier skills. The new Companion NPC System allows players to team up with other playable characters to challenge colossal bosses. This includes fearsome new foes like the White Tyrant and Blood Lord—towering monsters designed to push even the mightiest warriors to their limits.

What to expect from Vindictus Defying Fate?

Vindictus Defying Fate is an adrenaline-fueled action RPG that builds on the legacy of the original Vindictus IP. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game features high-quality graphics and delivers a unique combat experience defined by perfectly timed dodges, powerful counters, and impactful strikes.

Players can explore a rich 3D world filled with customizable characters, detailed outfits, and a unique companion system. Following a successful pre-alpha test in March 2024, the game is preparing for its next phase, with an alpha test scheduled for June 2025, featuring key new additions that expand the game’s core features.

Two New Characters

  • Now featuring four playable characters
