IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the internationally acclaimed Hitman franchise, announced that Hitman World of Assassination will be available for the Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025. Hitman World of Assassination – Signature Edition includes Hitman World of Assassination as well as premium content and extra locations and missions for a total of +100 hours of content to play through.
Hitman World of Assassination invites players to become the world’s ultimate assassin by bringing together the best of Hitman, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3, including the main campaign, contracts mode, escalations, elusive target arcades, and featured live content.

What to expect in Hitman World of Assassination?
In the award-winning game, players control master assassin Agent 47 to explore stealth-based sandboxes and take down high-profile targets. Explore intricate, open-ended environments, using disguises, creative tools, and concealment tactics to execute missions.
From the glamorous runways of a fashion show in Paris to the dizzying heights of Dubai’s skyscrapers or the rapturous crowd of a high-speed race in Miami, operatives will travel all around the world to find their next target. The gameplay emphasizes strategy, improvisation, and replayability, rewarding experimentation and attention to detail.
What’s so special about the Nintendo 2 version?
This greatest-hits collection of the Hitman series was previously available on Nintendo Switch systems via cloud streaming. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will run natively on the console, allowing players to experience Agent 47’s globe-trotting adventures seamlessly offline and on the go.
Hitman World of Assassination – Signature Edition includes the main campaign, Contracts mode, Escalation, Elusive Target arcades, featured live content, Freelancer game mode, plus all Hitman 2 Expansion Pack & Hitman 3 Deluxe Pack content.
Pre-orders for both digital and physical copies of the Signature Edition will be available soon. In addition to the full game, players who pre-order the Signature Edition digitally will get access to the Signature Pack, containing 2 additional in-game outfits and items. Physical pre-orders are accompanied by the Signature Pack, containing 2 in-game outfits and items, as well as the Quack Pack, giving access to 1 outfit and item.
