NC America is continuing to release a steady cadence of post-launch releases. This time, the developer is doing so with the next chapter of gameplay for Blade & Soul: NEO with Moonwater Plains, Pt. 2. This second update promises to be a jam-packed update that enables players to confront the corrupt pirate crew, the Blackram Marauder ‘s hold on the realm, through two new dungeons and three bosses for a new level of exploration combat in both PvE and PvP.

What is new in Blade & Soul: NEO Moonwater Plains Pt. 2?

When it comes to story, the Blackram Marauders have intensified their stranglehold on the realm’s coasts in Moonwater Plains, Pt. 2. From a secure harbor in the Moonwater Plains, they now threaten every nearby shipping lane and coastal village. Players will explore the region’s coasts to uncover their growing influence with the goal of defeating the increased threat before the entire realm is threatened.

In this update, Blade & Soul NEO players can explore two new dungeons, the major dungeon Bloodshade Harbor, where the Blackram East Fleet is anchored, and where they’ll battle one of the highest-ranking officers in the entire Blackram gang, the boss, Fleet Captain Hae Mujin.

In Cold Storage, a mini dungeon and one of the Blackram’s smaller bases of operation, players will clash against the boss Winter Mane, a powerful beastlike humanoid with mechanized enhancements. An additional boss, the monstrous fish creature known as the Kaari Lord, appears when certain conditions are met.

You can get a look at what the Moonwater Plains Pt. 2 update will offer below.

Want to start playing NEO?

To enhance the experience, acquire a free or premium Battle Pass. The Season 1 Battle Pass is 1,500 Divine Gems ($15) and features exclusive consumables (that aid in story progression) and quality-of-life benefits (when the Battle Passes Plus track is enabled).

A modern reinterpretation of the original Blade and Soul‘s wuxia-themed fantasy world, Blade and Soul NEO enables gamers the opportunity to re-live the original storyline as a hero determined to restore honor to their clan.

Players immediately join the well-known Hongmoon Clan, led by Master Hong, only to witness its sudden destruction by the villainess Jinsoyun and her accomplices, Yura and Gubong. Left to die, MMORPG fans will begin their journey of discovery, intrigue, and adventure, solo or with friends.

Pick from four playable races based on animal lore: the Jin, Gon, Lyn and Yun; and amongst seven classes: Assassin, Blade Dancer, Blade Master, Destroyer, Force Master, Kung Fu Master, and Summoner.

Blade & Soul NEO is available now and free-to-play.
