It’s the moment everyone has been waiting for as LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12, “Can’t Live Without A Good Brother,” brings the second season of LINK CLICK to a close in epic fashion. So much suspense has built over the course of the season, but all of the loose ends are finally coming together as this season ends and a third is brilliantly set up. The twists and turns show no signs of slowing down in this entertaining and thought-provoking series.

Qian Jin has proven to be quite the villain, the toughest challenge Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang have ever had to face. His tepid alliance with Li Tianchen allowed him to work his own dastardly plans behind the scenes. That all starts to crumble when Qian Jin shoots Li Tianxi and Li Tianchen, full of a deep love for his sister, rushes to help her. It’s a beautiful moment where Li Tianchen comes full circle from being a villain back to being the brother that Li Tianxi loves so much. Li Tianxi tells him she misses their mom in such a touching scene between the two as it appears Li Tianxi does not have long to live. Seeing Li Tianchen show a bit of humanity after everything he has done is nice and helps show how human beings are complicated, especially in LINK CLICK.

The dynamic duo of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang has mostly been separated this season but finally gets to reunite on screen here as things wind to a close. Lu Guang shows some uncharacteristic emotion as the two fight against Qian Jin, leaping violently to attack Qian Jin after he shoots Cheng Xiaoshi. Lu Guang has always been the cool, calm, and collected of the duo, so seeing him act more on emotional impulse in LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12 is important. It shows how tight the bond is between these two men and how deeply Lu Guang cares for his partner. They have been through so much together, so it makes sense that Lu Guang would throw caution to the wind in response to Cheng Xiaoshi’s suffering.

LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12 is full of some excellent fighting animation that impresses from start to finish. Seeing the duo of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang tag team to take on Qian Jin starts it all off, with an epic musical score in the background to increase the intensity. Then, after Xiao Li joins the fray to take on Qian Jin, the intensity jumps up yet another notch. The combination of brilliant blocking and tense music makes for some truly impactful fighting sequences that draw viewers even further into the action as both physical and verbal barbs are traded.

LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12 - But Why Tho

Just as brutal are the emotional notes that LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12 hits. More of Li Tianxi and Li Tianchen’s parents are shown, specifically their final confrontation before their deaths. It makes it clear why Li Tianchen goes down the path he ultimately goes down, given the role he had to play in what happens. It is physically hard to watch at times, but that is because of how real it feels. The subplot of their parent’s death has been vital to their character growth and it is all finally out there to be seen.

Events like the death of Chen Bin are also revisited but with more context as to how Li Tianchen and Li Tianxi factored into it. The two siblings were so irreversibly messed up by their upbringing and their own internal turmoil is on full display here. They have still done terrible things, but it’s clear that what they do has a profound effect on them that is brilliantly resolved by the end.

There are a few twists at the end of LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12, in true LINK CLICK fashion, that ensure viewers will be excited for the third season. New characters, abilities, and motivations come into play in the dying moments set up perfectly for the adventures of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang to continue for another season. There is still more to be figured out when it comes to the main duo as well as characters like Li Tianchen, but even the cliffhangers feel earned and still show plenty of story development without just existing for the sake of having another cliffhanger.

LINK CLICK Season 2 Episode 12 ties up so many loose ends while also setting up a third season in excellent fashion. The emotional depth on display is sure to move viewers as the entire season has, and the way it all ties together is quite satisfying. The final cliffhangers also promise more to come that should be just as exciting.
