Per the press release, the Operation Amber Sky live event will release as part of Title Update 3.10, launching free for all players on January 19. The update will introduce:

  • 9 Free Missions: The Ghosts are told that Sentinel is producing a toxic gas, Amber Ruin, in Auroa and selling it all over the world. Joining forces with an infiltrated Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege team, players will have to stop the production and find an antidote. For this, they will have to complete a wide array of objectives and venture into the deadly gas areas, where they will need to wear a gas mask and renew their filters regularly to survive. Upon completing the event missions, players will unlock eleven unique rewards, including brand-new weapons and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege full skins.
  • New Teammates: After completing the first mission of the live event, players will be able to deploy Operators Ash, Finka and Thatcher anywhere in the game and at any time from the menu, as an alternative to regular teammates. Their looks, weapons and unique capabilities are modeled from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
  • More than 120 New Customization Items: Items include full skins from Operators and more.

Additionally, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will kick off a free weekend from January 21–24, available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Windows PC and Stadia which will coincide with the event. In addition to having full access to the base game’s content, new players will get the chance to experience the Amber Sky live event and earn related rewards. New players can even pre-load the game starting January 19 on Windows PC and consoles. The current free trial offer, which gives players full access to the main game with six hours of playtime, will be paused during the free weekend and reinstated on January 25. Players who have downloaded the free trial before January 21 will see trial restrictions lifted until the end of the free weekend.

But that’s not all, in conjunction with this free weekend, there will discounts of up to 85% on the Standard and Gold Editions, as well as up to 70% off on the Year 1 Pass. Players who purchase the full game will see all their progress carry over from the free weekend.

Title Update 3.10 comes after a full year of post-launch support for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint and the recent release of Episode 3: Red Patriot. The game is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, the Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Windows PC, Stadia, Amazon Luna and Ubisoft’s subscription service, Ubisoft+.

While not particularly sacry, Cronos: The New Dawn is a lot of fun as a survival horror that puts you in the futuristic armor of the Traveler.
