Wargaming is celebrating a massive milestone with World of Tanks turning 15. The celebration, which runs from August 8 to August 31, 2025 is packed with gifts, missions, and exclusive drops to thank the millions of players who have made the game a global phenomenon.
If you’re unfamiliar, World of Tanks is the first team-based, massively multiplayer online action game dedicated to tank warfare. Players throw themselves into World War II tank battles all over the world. Players’ arsenal includes over 800 armored vehicles from 11 nations, carefully detailed with historical accuracy.

“Fifteen years ago, we launched World of Tanks with a bold mission: to bring tank combat to gamers like never before,” said Victor Kislyi, CEO of Wargaming. “Since then, it’s become something even greater — a digital hobby that unites millions of dedicated players across the globe. In addition to the in-game events and rewards below, Wargaming is also updating its physical merch. To celebrate 15 years of World of Tanks, Wargaming is launching a special anniversary merch lineup for tank enthusiasts around the world. From exclusive apparel to one-of-a-kind gear, the collection offers fans a stylish way to mark the occasion in their storefront.
15 Anniversary In-Game Events and Rewards
While 15 years of content can seem intimidating, now is the perfect time to jump into the game with a wide selection of events and rewards.
- Anniversary Battle Pass Chapter: A special Battle Pass chapter allows players to earn the new Brennos, a Tier VIII French heavy tank, along with special crew members and other valuable in-game items.
- Veteran Bonuses: Anyone who created a World of Tanks account before April 14, 2012, is now officially a veteran. Veterans receive a special “15th Anniversary” badge, and any battle that includes at least one veteran gives all participants a 15% credit boost.
- Anniversary Album: Log in daily to open envelopes, relive key moments from the game’s history, and claim thrilling rewards.
- Arcade Cabinet: For two weekends in August, the Arcade Cabinet features the Overwhelming Fire mode, where players can drive eight unconventional vehicles and fire thousands of rounds per minute.
- Anniversary Streams: A series of anniversary streams will offer players the chance to earn 3D and 2D tank styles, crew skins, and Tier VIII-IX Premium vehicles through Twitch drops.
