Netflix has announced that the highly anticipated Alice in Borderland Season 3 will premiere on September 25, 2025, exclusively on the platform. The hit series is based on the manga of the same name by mangaka Haro Aso (published by Shogakukan), a beloved manga that sees fan-favorite characters Arisu and Usagi return to the treacherous world of the games, with only the mysterious Joker card remaining.

Directed once again by Shinsuke Sato, Alice in Borderland Season 3 stars Kento Yamazaki as Arisu and Tao Tsuchiya as Usagi. The new season promises an even grander scale with stunning visuals and an exciting lineup of both new and returning cast members.

What to Expect from Alice In Borderland Season 3

Alice In Borderland Season 3 - Arisu

Season 3 picks up after Arisu and Usagi successfully cleared all the games and returned to the real world, now married and leading a happy life. However, their memories of the Borderland persist only in dreams and hallucinations. The tranquility shatters when Usagi mysteriously vanishes, guided to the Borderland by Ryuji, a scholar of the afterlife.

A devastated Arisu is then informed of Usagi’s whereabouts by Banda, now a Borderland resident, compelling him to follow her back into inevitable danger. Upon his return, Arisu is immediately thrust into intense, life-or-death challenges, facing fire arrows and deadly electric currents. The core mystery revolves around the Joker card, the final game it holds, and whether Arisu can find Usagi and escape the Borderland once more.
