During the Xbox Games Showcase, we got a chance to look at the gameplay trailer for the upcoming Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive. If there ever was an anime that screamed, “Please, make me into a game or else,” it is definitely the Solo Leveling franchise. Heck, it’s the gamification of a hero’s journey wrapped up in a pretty bow, and Netmarble is re-imagining the webtoon in new ways with their latest foray into the Solo Leveling Arise gaming universe – Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive.

Coming to Xbox and PC, Jinwoo gets gamified in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive in this new co-op venture. Featuring all-new stories for the universe, battle your way through a variety of monsters – both familiar and new, based on this initial trailer – and level up to live up to Jinwoo’s “Strongest Hero in the World” legacy.

You can play as Jinwoo and some of your favorite characters from the webtoon series: Choi Jong-in, The Ultimate Hunter, Baek Yoon-ho, the hunter with a beast transformation, and the remarkable Cha Hae-in. You can build the teams up as you tackle each gate, though beware.

With each new successful defeat, the gates get harder. And, at some point, you will come up against a gate that you may not be able to defeat without reconfiguring your lineup. You’ll have to think more carefully about your weapons and how you use them. But rest assured. Based on the trailer, you’ll have plenty to choose from.

While there’s no release date set for Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, it is expected to release sometime in 2025. Keep your eyes peeled for further updates (and more heroic fighting battles). Add the game to your wishlist now on Steam and Xbox.

Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive is not Netmarble’s first Solo Leveling venture

Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has been working on Solo Leveling ARISE game for eons, with new updates introducing new hunters, events, and more for players to enjoy.

In Solo Leveling ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit webtoon Solo Leveling. Taking on the role of Jinwoo, players can experience his journey through the beloved webtoon tale firsthand, leveling up, taking on dynamic battles, and creating their own combat styles by selecting various combinations of skills and weapons. Not only can players team up with hunters from the webtoon, they can summon their own “Army of Shadows” with the iconic phrase: “Arise.”

Netmarble’s latest game Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive expands the Solo Leveling gaming universe. So far, they have yet to do us wrong regarding their gaming adaptations of the webtoon.
