Battlestate Games announces the launch of Battle Pass: Season 0 in Escape from Tarkov Arena.

Battle Pass: Season 0 introduces a brand-new progression system for players within Escape From Tarkov Arena, designed to reward skill and determination with generous prizes. The system includes 150 progression levels, which can be advanced by fighting in the Arena and completing daily and weekly tasks.

In addition, a new temporary in-game currency is being introduced — Battle Points (BP), which can only be used during the Battle Pass period. BP is required to unlock Season 0 rewards and can be earned by completing quests or exchanged for Roubles and GP. Each reward is tied to a specific level and BP cost, meaning both level and currency are required to claim them.

Battle Pass: Season 0 features over 100 rewards, including new Tactical Clothing, Masks, Balaclavas, Glasses, Gear, GP Coins, Lega Medals, and Unique Supply Crates for EFT. All items obtained through the Battle Pass (excluding currency and Supply Crates) are permanent and will not be wiped after a progress reset.

A New Weapon Camouflage System

The highlight of Battle Pass: Season 0 is the Weapon Camouflage system, a new customization feature that allows players to alter the appearance of their weapons and attachments. This feature is enabled via a new item called the Weapon Paint Kit, which has unlimited uses and is unlocked as a Battle Pass reward.

Integration with Escape from Tarkov Arena

The new Tactical Clothing will be immediately available in both PvP and PvE modes of Escape from Tarkov. While not shown in the Flea Market, it will appear during character customization. Other rewards will become available through offers from Ref. Once the synchronization system between Escape from Tarkov Arena and Tarkov’s PvE mode is fully implemented, these items will also appear in PvE.

Battle Pass: Season 0 will be available for two months, with the possibility of an extension.

Other Changes in Patch 0.16.5.5

  • Commentary Voice Pack: An English-language commentator has been added to the sound settings in Escape From Tarkov Arena.
  • Friends and Chat System Overhaul: Redesigned to improve the game’s social features.
  • Quest Chain and Ref’s Inventory Adjustments: Balance changes applied.
  • New High-Power Sniper Ammunition: 7.62×51 Ball 11 Long Range and 7.62x54R MAI Tungsten Carbide AP — capable of one-shotting class 4 armor with a chest hit. Introduced to revitalize sniping in Arena. These rounds may also appear in the original EFT based on player feedback and performance.
  • Damage Coefficient Adjustments: Balancing tweaks made to limb damage calculations.

What is Escape from Tarkov Arena?

Escape from Tarkov Arena combines the hardcore mechanics of Escape from Tarkov and the fast-paced gameplay of session matches, offering players a new perspective on the Tarkov universe.

The city of Tarkov is overrun with chaos. While corporations and private military companies wage their war in the streets, a mysterious group, the Masters of Arena, led by Ref, operate in the shadows. They have created clandestine fighting grounds where the best warriors battle for glory, money, and survival.

You are an Arena gladiator. Will you become the next legend?

Here are the expected features players can expect:

  • Tactical team matches and free-for-all all gunfights
  • Realistic weapon and health mechanics
  • Variety of arenas with unique combat conditions
  • 200+ weapons and hundreds of attachments from Escape from Tarkov
  • Ranked game modes and Esports tournaments
