MLB Rivals, the officially licensed MLB game with lifelike stadiums, real MLB players and high-quality graphics, is available now for PC via Steam and mobile devices with a massive 2025 season update. With this update, MLB Rivals exits Steam Early Access and fully launches on PC.
Com2uS, the powerhouse developer behind globally beloved licensed sports games, knows baseball and what baseball fans want. New this year, 2025 Live Cards dynamically adjust player stats based on real-life performance, and new Special Cards feature elite players from past seasons. The new Ranked Tournament Mode invites players to go head-to-head in tournament brackets with a best-of-seven format. At the end of a season, earn rewards commensurate with the highest tournament round reached.
“Since the success of MLB Rivals on mobile and in Steam Early Access, Com2uS has continued to expand the ultra-competitive world of baseball and realism to a wider audience and create a gaming experience worthy of their passion,” said Richard Grisham, Director of Business Development at Com2uS USA. “With high-definition graphics, more control options and more content than ever, this is an elevated baseball experience for newcomers and seasoned players alike.”
Who are the players coming to MLB Rivals?
Bryce Harper, superstar slugger and first baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies, stars as a Cover Athlete alongside returning headliners Jung Hoo Lee of the San Francisco Giants and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Harper, the first overall pick in the 2010 MLB Draft, has won two National League MVP awards and four Silver Slugger awards while excelling as an outfielder, designated hitter, and first baseman. He has recorded double-digit home runs for 13 consecutive seasons and is widely regarded as one of the greatest hitters to ever play the game.
The MLB Tokyo Series, presented by Guggenheim, will be celebrated in-game starting March 18. By playing in the event, players can earn FA Prime Cards for a chance to recruit Yoshinobu Yamamoto and other athletes. Complete simple missions to earn Live Cards of all three Cover Athletes.
