Titan Forge Games and Hi-Rez Studios have announced that Smite 2, the sequel to the smash hit, is on the way. The sequel transforms the third-person MOBA landscape with advanced Unreal Engine 5 technology and enhanced gameplay. Smite 2 offers updates that will appease both newcomers and veterans of the game. The game looks to honor what players loved about Smite 1. The third-person multiplayer follow-up arrives ten years after the original game. Also, it offers a refined user interface, updated audio, clearer spell effects, and fresh physics-based abilities for Gods such as Ymir.
Smite 2 adopts state-of-the-art visuals, animations, and gameplay. Discover new God pantheons, kit refinement, gameplay changes, and overhauled Relic and Item systems for deeper strategy and combat. The backend technology promises the arrival of updated cross-play, a ranked rework that contains new tiers and structures, alongside improved matchmaking.
What else to expect from Smite 2
- Vision control slot and new dynamic map objectives
- Dual power sources — Strength and Intelligence — to diversify each God’s abilities and offer more nuanced and varied play styles.
- A reimagined Item Store to simplify item building and improve new-player learning curves
Divine Legacy
In honor of the 40 million Smite players, Divine Legacy is here. Players receive rewards for their time and accomplishments over ten years of Smite 1. The program will honor player spending. Smite 2 converts gems previously spent by players into Legacy Gems and can be used on purchases. The Divine Legacy program will offer 11 unique skins, badges, Gold Mastery levels, and cross-generation skins that work across both games. Beginning in 2024, all new gem-purchasable skins in SMITE will be cross-generation.
Where Can I Play Smite 2
