Martin Scorcese’s film Killers of the Flower Moon is finally making its streaming premiere globally on Apple TV+ January 12, 2024. Based on the best-selling book of the same name by David Grann, the film had its theatrical run last year and has achieved universal acclaim, including Critics Choice and Golden Globe nominations.

We named it one of our top five films of 2023, writing:

“In order to showcase the lengths that these white men went to steal and the depth of their violence, the film uses the entirety of the three-hour and thirty-minute run time. No corner is cut, and every injustice is laid bare for the audience to see. It is rare to see reverence given to Native women and even rarer to have their abuse called out so distinctly. With the last words of the film, “There was no mention of the murders,” Scorsese and Roth issue a condemnation of the history books.”

The Oscar nominations will be announced on January 23rd, with expected nominations for the cast, such as Lily Gladstone and crew behind the cameras.
