Everguild is excited to announce that The Horus Heresy: Legions is set to become Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions, with a major rebranding on time for the massive Shadow of the Warmaster expansion. This update will arrive on February 16th and bring over 200 new cards focused on the four original traitor Legions, as well as greatly revamping its aesthetic, UI, and storefront, a battle-pass system, a new legacy game mode, and brand new cover art and logo. This is the start of a new era for Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions!

The expansion will bring whole new sets for the first Legions to swear their allegiance to the Warmaster: Sons of Horus, Emperor’s Children, Death Guard, and World Eaters, as well as a whole set of neutral Solar Auxilia cards. These cards will feature fresh gameplay mechanics, amazing original artwork, and voice lines. The first renewed Legion, the Sons of Horus, will become available when the expansion begins on February 16th, 2023. Then,
another new Legion will join the game every two weeks until all four are released.

This huge update also brings a new battle-pass system, offering numerous rewards and exclusive cosmetics each season. The first-ever season pass will begin at the same time as the expansion, focusing on the Sons of Horus and providing players with a fantastic way to start collecting cards and cosmetics for the Warmaster’s own Legion.

Both new and existing players will receive two full starter decks, one from the traitor Sons of Horus and another from the loyal Imperial Fists. This marks the start of a new cycle and is an excellent time to get into the game –whether for long-time fans or new players that just can’t resist the call of the Warmaster.

Horus Heresy fans have had an amazing year with the release of the second edition of the tabletop game and further new novels in the New York Times bestselling series. This expansion brings Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions up to date with the latest developments and continues to give life to the greatest heroes and villains of the setting and to let players take part in the intense battles of the Heresy.

Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions game is available on Steam, Apple’s App Store, and Google Play.
