Extraordinary Attorney Woo - But Why Tho

Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a Korean legal drama series streaming on Netflix. After a pair of hard cases, Attorney Woo’s life seems to be settling down. Her new relationship with Jon Ho is off to a strong start and life is good. But the good times can pass quickly, as Hanbada finds itself facing new cases that will test Woo and her willingness to adhere strictly to the law in Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 10-11.

In the first of this week’s cases, we see Hanbada represent clients in a dispute over a sizeable lottery ticket winning. This is the classic situation of a group of friends pool money for lottery tickets and promising to split the winnings, but when one ticket wins that promise is quickly forgotten.

While not original, this scenario is used expertly in Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 10-11 to deliver a compelling story. While the court moments are crafted well, what I liked most about this episode is how it alters the usual structure of the show’s formula. Rather than having the trial go right up till the end of the episode, this tale sees the court proceedings wrap up early, allowing the show to explore the surprising aftermath of the case.

It is in the aftermath that this episode hits its best moments as Woo finds herself caught between doing a good thing and doing a legal thing. How the attorney skirts around the issues brings a bit of humor to the story.

The second story in the Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 10-11 pair sees an insurance company heading into a merger and laying off many of its female employees. Though of course, it does it in such a way as to avoid any workplace discrimination accusations, Nevertheless, the company finds itself being sued by some of its former female workers.

This episode shifts the show’s established formula once again as it sees Woo and her coworkers defending those clearly in the wrong. This sits poorly with Woo and is used against her to stir up trouble within Hanbada itself.

In the background of both of Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 10-11’s stories is Woo’s ongoing relationship with Jon Ho. As the duo continues to feel out how things will work for them, the show delivers wonderful heartfelt moments as the pair grow together. While I’m sure there will be struggles in their future, I find myself sincerely hoping they are able to make it work.

When all is said and done, Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 10-11 keeps the series running in a strong direction. With larger plots coalescing in the background, the series looks to be in a great place as it heads into the final four episodes of its season.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 10-11 are streaming now on Netflix, with a new episode dropping each Wednesday and Thursday.
