Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles

Today, SEGA announced that Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will receive “Additional Character Pack” DLC starting Summer 2022 on all available platforms (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam).

SEGA is also excited to share that users can now pre-order the digital edition of the game on the Nintendo eShop, with more details below. Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will launch for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on June 10, 2022.

The “Additional Character Pack” is a series of paid downloadable content featuring several new characters that can be used in the Versus mode of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles (both locally and online). The first release scheduled for this summer will feature Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, who engaged in a fierce battle [IK1] against demons in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime.

From there, 6 more characters who also appeared in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime will be available for purchase in a series of periodic updates:

Nezuko (Advanced Demon Form)
Tanjiro (Entertainment District)
Zenitsu (Entertainment District)
Inosuke (Entertainment District)
Daki
Gyutaro

Digital pre-orders are now available for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles on the Nintendo eShop! This edition contains the following:

Full Game
5 Kimetsu Academy Summer Uniform costumes (Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Giyu Tomioka)
3 Butterfly Mansion Patient Wear costumes (Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira)
1 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key (Tanjiro Kamado)
16,000 Kimetsu Points
In addition, those who pre-order the Digital edition will also receive 3 bonus character unlock keys for Kimetsu Academy Nezuko, Kimetsu Academy Zenitsu, and Kimetsu Academy Inosuke as part of a limited-time Launch version available for up to two weeks after launch.

Please note the 5 Kimetsu Academy Summer Uniform costumes, 3 Butterfly Mansion Patient Wear costumes, and 16,000 Kimetsu Points listed above will also come standard in the physical edition for Nintendo Switch.
