Paradox Interactive has released “Feeding the Future,” a food-oriented content pack for Haemimont Games’ Surviving Mars: Relaunched. The remaster of the original title is now available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, as is the content pack.
This is also the game’s first original content pack since its relaunch last year and adds new farms, new food-service buildings, and new culinary colonist options to the Martian colony management title. The pack is also included in Surviving Mars: Relaunched – Ultimate Edition and the Prime Mission expansion pass, or players can buy it individually.

What is new in the “Feeding the Future” content pack?
In the new content pack, players will provide their colonists with various delicacies and build local production to create the ultimate Martian diet. Food service buildings still feed colonists but can now also add food that affects colonist comfort, morale, health, and sanity. Alternatively, a poorly fed colony can survive, but to optimize, you have to feed your people.
- New Buildings – Food Production: Barista Cafe, Fast Food Restaurant, and the premier Panoramic Spire Restaurant; build out the restaurants you can make. Additionally, players will also have new automated farms and alternate food sources.
- New Colonist Traits: Your colony will now have demanding Foodies and Coffee Enthusiasts, which encourage you to hunt for a Celebrity Chef.
- New Commanders: Feeding the Future adds Horticulturalist and Agronomist as Commanders.
- More Options for Different Tastes: A broad range of new food-related laws, new crops and animals, and new delicacies.

Today’s launch is accompanied by a free content and quality update for the game, including several core system changes, a new research system, new services, colonist stats, and much, much more.
